The Executive Opinion Survey
2010 of the World Economic Forum Preparing The Global Competitiveness Report
2010-2011
The Global Competitiveness Report was
published in 1979 for the first time by the World
Economic Forum (www.weforum.org). The
report analyzes the competitiveness of more than 100
emerging and developed countries. The aim is to ensure
special comparison possibility
-
For the
entrepreneurs, to work out their business
strategies and investment decisions;

For the governments, to
identify the hindering factors of economic growth and
to plan better economic policies;
-
For the researchers, to
analyze the current business circumstances of certain
economies and to compare it with other
economies;
-
For civil
organizations, to study the competitiveness’
position of the country.
The Executive Opinion Survey which
is conducted by the partners, in Hungary the
Kopint-Tárki, of the World Economic Forum, is the most
significant part of the Global Competitiveness Report.
It has an important act in the fact that the Report
could be developed to the representative measure of
economic circumstances and the developing abilities of
the world. The Executive Survey collects information
about several factors that is not or barely available
from statistical sources.
